Parade Permits

CHAPTER 8.35 PARADES

8.35.03 Permit required.
It shall be unlawful for any person to conduct a parade in or upon any public street, or alley in the city, or knowingly participate in any such parade, unless and until a permit to conduct a parade has been obtained from the city.

8.35.04 Application for permit
Any person seeking a parade permit shall file an application at the Pea Ridge Police Department on the forms and in the manner provided. The application form shall be signed by the applicant and shall be filed at least fourteen (14) calendar days before the parade is proposed to commence. The Chief of Police, in his discretion, may consider any application for a parade permit filed at any time before the proposed event if he determines that fourteen (14) days is unnecessary for city staffing, planning, coordination, etc. to prepare for the event. The Chief of Police is encouraged to review, and issue permits as soon as possible.
